Support for an acquisition

Many SMEs could be targeted for an acquisition, but identify them in a very crowded and dispersed market may be difficult and time consuming for an international investor

In a typical MBI situation, we can support a foreign investor in

    • identifying and selecting potential targets
    • performing the preliminary and evaluations
    • performing MANAGEMENT ASSESSMENT
    • acting as an advisors to build up an effective deal
    • interfacing between the parties until the closing

In these situations the availability of local interim manager may bring substantial advantages to the acquiring international investor:

    • availability of senior know how and expertise at variable costs
    • acceleration of the operational steps for closing the deal
    • creation of a positive interface between the local employees and management and the new international ownership
    • guarantee of an easy and smooth adaptation to local laws and business habits
    • preparation of the hand over to a manager of the group (if planned)

In a situation where labour legislation constraints may discourage the opening of a start up, working with flexible resources may grant enough time to evaluate the long term sustainability of the start up company. This may be achieved through:

    • an interim management team (initially even one manager) in charge of creating the new structure
